Position Overview

As a Receptionist/Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our dental practice. Your responsibilities will include assisting dentists during procedures, managing patient appointments, handling enquiries and phone calls, maintaining patient records, liaising with other health professionals, and creating a warm and welcoming environment for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet patients warmly and provide excellent customer service.
  • Manage patient appointments, schedule adjustments, and reminders.
  • Assist dentists during various dental procedures.
  • Prepare treatment rooms, ensuring cleanliness and sterilisation of instruments.
  • Handle patient inquiries via phone, email, and in person.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional patient care.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven experience as a Dental Assistant and/or Receptionist in a dental practice.
  • Exceptional communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanour.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and office practices.
  • Proficiency in EXACT dental practice management software.
  • Current police check and working with children check.
